Perhaps there is hope,  Myrtle Beach SC has seen consumers begin to book the usually busy Valentine's Day weekend.

Myrtle Beach Hotels on the Oceanfront and those at Barefoot Resort are beginning to reach up to 70% occupancy in advance bookings for the two day weekend.

Consumer confidence seems to be ticking up in the Real Estate Market as well with a sudden increase in interest with increased leads across the board.

Let's see how 2009 develops.  For Myrtle Beach as a destination and relocation area,  encouraging beginnings are taking shape.
