OK Pocono Enthusiasts I must say that even the most EXTREME Pocono Outdoors Person is looking for even the smallest sign of Spring. I find myself whistling outside while I am walking my dog just to hear the chickadees sing back to me . I don't know, I guess it just puts me in a better frame of mind. Listening to those little chirps gives me a glimpse of what is only about 6-8 weeks away -----SPRING!!!!!!!!!
It has been a long winter already. A little under a cord of firewood has been consistently burned away in the fireplace by now. The family is starting to get antsy, you know!
The 2009 group of potential Arrowhead Lakes Homeowners has started their searches already. Phones have once again started ringing after a long Holiday Season. It is an exciting time for real estate agents in general, especially with mortgage rates at a 50 year low and Punxutawney Phil now in the rear view mirror. Folks are making their weekend pilgrimages to view the assortment of houses currently on the market in Pristine Arrowhead Lakes. These folks have been well educated on the community by now from their realtor and know all about the amenities and services you receive here as a homeowner. Well there is still snow on the ground when I leave my home everyday and yes it is there when I return in the afternoon as well but one thing I know for sure is that Time stands still for noone and that more sooner than later we will start to see the buds on the tips of the trees getting larger and larger everyday and the grass starting to spout through once again. Green foliage will slooooooowly begin to overtake the landscape and all will be good in my mind once again!!
