Business openings include a new full-service Hyundai dealership is moving in on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, South Carolina, adding another car lot to the popular auto sales area. Their Touch the Ground Foundation donates to medical facilities, missionaries, schools orphanages and the feeding of starving families in 27 countries.
Greenville Businesses are thinking ahead by showcasing Greenville which is vying to host a karate organization's national championship in 2010. Greenville City Council voted to pledge $20,000 in hotel tax revenue to help bring in the event, which is expected to host about 7,500 visitors. The USA National Karate-Do Federation is looking for an entertaining and inexpensive location for the event and is also looking at Tacoma, WA and Stockton, CA. The Bi-Lo Center would be the venue if Greenville, SC gets the pick.
