Thanks for sharing Elizabeth ..I actually use to reside in Dorchester as I graduated from Northeastern University years and years ago ..I still write a lot of business in Boston and might just check this fair out as I am overdue for a visit. Do you happen to know what downpayment and closing cost programs are available today in the area..i know the city of Brockton was offering a $2,500.00 credit to qualified borrowers but I'm curious what Boston offers..All the Best ...Denise

Hi Liz:

I have been preaching for months that we should contact buyers who couldn't afford a home in 2004 and 2005 because hey are the perfect buyers to step right into this market now that the prices drifted so low.  It would clean out some inventory and get things stabilized.

Hi Denise - the Boston Home Ctr link above has a page about available financial assistance.  The website is great - I hadn't seen it before myself.

Thanks Michael. There certainly are opportunities out there right now that we could only dream about a few years ago.
