Greetings from the North Georgia Mountains!

Thanks for the post! I have been passively using Trulia for some time now, but I can see that it's time to take a closer look...

Along with Trulia you might want to consider Zillow. The nice thing about both Trulia and Zillow is that they have applications that run on PDAs like the IPhone. So while I am driving clients around I can reference pricing on a home that we pass by that is not on my list of homes to see. That is if the listing Realtors post it on Trulia or Zillow.

Morning Elaine,  We all need as much exposure as we can get.  Trulia does a very nice job.

Our MLS has a syndicated feed with Trulia, but not Zillow.  We also have the ability to put our listings onto Realtor.com through our MLS, but I would rather drive traffic to me and my listings rather than let Realtor.com or Zillow farm out the "leads" to other local brokers.

I'm also happy using Trulia. I try to make full use of anything that's affordable or free. It's a must these days!

More than likely your listings are on Trulia, but if you want to enhance your listings and add your photo and contact information, you must set up a free account.

Comparing Trulia to Realtor.com is fairly simple.  Realtor.com gets 4 times the monthly traffic - that's all I need to hear.  Will I avoid Trulia?  No, but I won't spend too much time on it.  A better comparison is Trulia to Zillow.

I do get hits from Trulia, but I think that Realtor.com still gets more visitors. I am paying for ads on both sites. Trulia is definitely more affordable.
