Olathe Kansas recently released the results of the 2008 Citizen Survey that was conducted by a random sample of over 1200 Olathe households. According to the survey, satisfaction of the city of Olathe has been steady increasing since 2002.
Their summary page states:
Overall satisfaction with city services remains high despite worsening economic conditions
9 out of 10 residents give positive ratings for the overall quality of city service
Olathe setting the standard for performance in most areas
City's Composite Index Improved because city has made investments in the areas residents care most about
Of 81 areas assessed in 2007 and 2008, 39 Improved and 42 declined
Major Categories with the most improvement: Traffic Flow and Parks and Recreation
