Capitalism: economic and political system dependent on Private Capital and Profit Making and Free Market: Governed by Unrestricted Competition. Sounds good and works when the economy is good and the words are just that, words, now that the economy is in the toilet, it ain't working so well. All of the Big Boys, the Banks, Insurance; Investment/Financial Brokerages, Automobile Industries are looking for help, and the Government is aiding and abetting them.
Why, because at the heart they are not Capitalists and they don't believe in a Free Market. Oh, they tout it when it looks like its working for them. Sounds good, and makes the masses think they are smarter than we are and know something we don't, but its all "smoke and mirrors, if they had ever participated in Capitalism and a Free Market they would have failed before their ineptitude brought us to this crisis."
Free market and Capitalism means "You Make It or You Don't, NO SAFETY NET, You Fail, PERIOD !
Entrepreneurs and small business owner are the true Free marketeers and Capitalist. Do you see Bill Gates, Google or the Oil companies asking for funds? Are you seeing any bailout? I'm not, and don't expect to. We are the Capitalists and Free Market and NOT Big Business or the Government, so we need to quit fooling ourselves, they would like for you to think all of this is all for our benefit, It Is Not.
Look at Where the money WE loaned the Banks has gone, has the mortgage crisis been given any thing more than lip service? while they buy up their competition, go on business retreats, decorate and shop for their new jet. They ride on our production and buying, not the other way around.
So when it comes to the Free Market and Capitalism these are just catch words to them, they talk the talk, but They Do Not Walk the Walk, they are Parasitic.
SOoo, I quess we will just have to work our own way out. Bring on the buyers and sellers.
