As you know, the State of Washington just recently established a new regulation that each agency must provide a written policy for referring home inspectors.   I thought that the above chart might help in determining the standards you set in the policy. 

Obviously my information is complete but you might find that it makes it easier to build your referral list with chart similar to the one above.  I have tried to provide accurate information for the other inspectors but I have a few blanks.

Feel free to adapt the above if it is useful.  I do ask that you do not alter my information without informing me - not that you can't but please do let me know.

You only have two competitors, Paul? That must be nice! We work on price down here, so I have a similar chart of my 27 major competitors with just prices. I'm the lowest, average, and highest, all at the same time because I offer choices. We had a high of 269 inspectors three years ago, but a combination of the five phone books and ASHI and CREIA records indicate that we're down to about 115 inspectors now.

Howdy Russel!

That's just one of the little towns around here.  I do much the same as you by building in choices - I'm putting together charts for each town that I service.

Doesn't add that many inspectors - about a dozen for 100k population so not that different from the San Diego area if you multiple for the population difference.
