If you are trying to sell your home, you may think it is best to be there when a potential buyer and their agent come by. Most of the time, you shouldn't be there. Home buyers will feel often like intruders if you are home when they visit, and they might not be as receptive toward viewing your home. They are also less likely to voice their opinions or concerns because they don't want to say them in front of the you, the homeowner. So, visit the local coffee house or store, take the kids to the local park or go for a walk. If you absolutely cannot leave, try to remain in an out of they way area of the house and do not move from room to room. Do not volunteer any information, but answer any questions the agent may ask. Sometimes you can talk your way out of a sale. You want the buyer to look at the wonderful qualities your home has to offer, not standing there listening to stories of how much you are going to miss it when you leave.
