Tasty Z's, Eagle WI. Why didn't you just stop???

You know what is great about Eagle, WI?  You can't just drive through without finding a new gem around the corner.  Take Tasty Z's for instance.  One minute you think you are filling up at the pumps and the next you are eating at one of most fabulous deli's around.  Not only that, they have a patriotic theme.  Since it is still cold in Wisconsin, I had the Fire Cracker with the soup of the day...Chicken Dumpling.  I would like to say I got busy to work right afterward...actually I did, but I could have used a nap!

Wow i was just in there about a week ago passing by and i stopped in and thought ok ya this is going to be a subway or culvers type store. But after i went in i saw it was a lot less commercial and a lot more small town cozy and the food there was amazing. One of the employees suggested a number 6 roast beef. It was the best sub ive had in a long time. This is definatly a restraunt ill be stopping by whenver i pass through eagle

Fed Up and disgusted

I have never had such terrible customer service in my life.  And to be fair, we have tried them several times over the last few years.  The woman that runs both the gas station and Tasty Z's should be kept away from people at all times.  I have witnessed her, demean and berrate the young teenagers that work at both.  I was waiting in line to pay for gas, and she started yelling at a young girl, under the age of 18, for not ringing up a customers alcohol in front of all the customers in the store.  You have to be 18 years old to ring up alcohol in WI.  After the tornado, when the whole town was shut down, and in emergency mode, she had the nerve to be outside the door of the gas station and yelled at me across the parking lot as I was crossing over that " I had better not even think about setting foot in the store unless I have cash"  as I was trying to buy a cooler full of gatorade for the volunteers helping out at my house.  As if the whole town weren't going through the same thing.  Of course I had cash, but she could have said "Excuse me sir, just to let you know our credit card machines are down due to the storm"  And even after that, we have given it another try because the pizza is actually pretty good and we hoped maybe things had changed.  Tonight we ordered a Small pizza and a Medium pizza.  Their sizes are personal pizza, Small, Medium and Large.  When I got there to pick it up, she had a medium and a personal pizza, for $4, which has 4 tiny pieces waiting for me.  Rather than apologize, or try to make ammends with a discount or a coupon towards a future purchase, there was no apology but a simple "Well, you should have been more specific".  Really?!  Small means "SMALL" its your menu, not mine!  It really unfortunate that we have this horrible, horrible woman, representing our otherwise, wonderful and friendly small town at not one but two of our businesses.  She needs to get out of Eagle.
