Your comment really strikes a cord with me. That profile image is of what was to be The Beach House Degigned by Richard Meier. The Beach House Hotel was demolished a few years ago to make way for this "dream" condominium of 101 units on the Atlantic Ocean- ALL GLASS, only 12 stories tall, with 7 units per floor. The building was to have a 3 story grand entrance, a roof top pool and bar and was just going to be incredible!

Prices were to start from 1.1M for the 1 bedroom 1½ bath and go to over 9M for the PH's. The project went bankrupt a few years ago- NOW, the property is in recievership with debt of over $40M. The oceanfront site along with plans and an additional parcel are available.

I would love to see the Beach House Designed By Richard Meier come to fruition. I have a minor, very minor vested interest in seeing it come through ~ BEACH HOUSE SURFSIDE ~ that is my interest!

On the subject of Ocean View Condominium; it is a very affordable cond-conversion in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Prices range from 1K for a 1 bedroom monthly rental to $1,500 for a 2 bedroom. It is an excellent investment- potentially, as sales are starting from $120K
