I am half joking, half serious.

I am a home stager and lately, I've been slammed with back to back stagings (not that I am complaining).  I was wondering, why all of a sudden am I getting soooo many calls, did I do any advertising?  They said they all found me on google (thanks AR!), but then I had an "aha" moment - Duh- it is SPRING, when all the homes are being prepared to go on the market.

As I am training my crew to be able to take over for me, it is going to take some time.  I don't think they will be quite ready to be lead stager by end of the summer.  If I am away, I will have some coverage, but I am at a risk of losing some clients.  Therefore, I have to ask all of you ---

When is it a good time in the real estate sector to take a vacation?  Is there a pattern in the world of real estate?  When do you like to take off? (Please don't say winter....)

December, January and February. I take all 3 months off as there are rarely any people buying except for relocation people. We always spend December in Mexico, and this year we added a Cruise to our February.

i Sandra,

Thanks for getting back to me but I did not like your answer...I guess I will have to learn to deal with it.  I am a traditionalist in that I want to vacation during the summer months as opposed to the winter.  The kids are off school, the pool is always glistening, inviting you to come in, I can smell the ocean salt air, soft breeezes as I rock in my rocker overlooking hte blue waters, ice cream dripping on the sides of hte cone, feeling hte grit of sand between your toes, sorry I was dreamin'.
