Wow, it has been an active week on AR for me! I had a featured blog and didn't even know what that meant. Created a lot more indigestion. My TUMS ran out after about 15 minutes of searching AR for all the answers. Then it dawned on me, "ask the people leaving the comments". So that is what I did and I didn't have to run to Walmart to get more TUMS! I thank all my fellow Active Rainers that commented and answered all my silly questions like, what is a gold star, what is a feature, and why am I getting so many comments? AR members became my TUMS!
The same sort of thing happened to me in my real estate career. I had been working so hard to prove myself, get deals put together and just be successful that I didn't realize my team had achieved the highest volume in sales in our county. Someone in my office had to tell me we were #1. I sometimes wish they hadn't told me and maybe, just maybe I would still be working as hard to get there.
I am starting to think the same thing about my feature in AR. If I hadn't known that I had a featured blog, I would be writing all kinds of stuff. That was what I was doing before. Now I am trying to top the last one and may never get another feature. I may need more TUMS before this is all over!
Does anyone know why or how you get a feature? Is there a series of steps? What did I do that made that blog so great?
