Those things are harder than you would think to install, and most of the time they are installed incorrectly!

I was under the impression that any firestation or police station would help you install a car seat. So, when it was time for Alyssa to switch from rear facing to front facing, I stopped by the firestation to make sure everything was ok, and they wouldn't look at it. They said there was too much liability involved.  Huh?  I thought they wanted to help?!  In the entire Dallas area, including the many suburbs, there are only about 5 or 6 places that you can go to get your car seat  looked at and none were convenient to me, like 20-30 minutes away was the closest.

The firestations and police stations need to get back to helping the community and not just worrying about possible lawsuits.  If we all worried about possible lawsuits, none of us would be in real estate!

OMG Donna!  That is just WRONG!  These people are hired by our tax dollars to protect and serve...NOT coward and hide.  Sad what this law suit society has come too!

Thanks Brent, but with hearing a story like Donna's, I wonder just who would assist you with the correct installation procedures?
