My Apprentice, Kevin Tomlinson, has been a bit under the weather this week and today is his Birthday.

I promised him a "Fortune Telling" for his birthday, lucky for me his fortune came out to be VERY POSITIVE, so that it is a "good" birthday present.  I probably should have checked that it would be positive before I made the promise...but y'all know me...in my brain out my fingers.  So here goes.

First and foremost I am very happy to report that "The Year of the Fire Pig" is an EXELLENT year for Kevin and his business.  Since the Year of the Pig is also the year to celebrate and revel in LUXURY, there couldn't be a better year than this one to be in the Luxury Condo business.  Especially for Kevin (who is a Goat). 

"Goat People", like Kevin, are often Top Producers in this business, because they aren't as likely to "Quit When the Going Gets Tough".  They are just as happy in this business when times are tough as they are when the market is booming.  In fact they probably gain the advantage when the market gets tougher as their knowledge of the local market becomes even MORE important, when buyers and sellers need more than the roll of the dice to be successful at their objectives.

I took a peek at our compatibility, and report that our relationship is very true to form. Chinese Astrology is amazingly accurate.  Test it.  Take all of your favorite people, and least favorite people, and look up their "animal sign".  It's amazing how many will fall exactly where the book predicts they will.

On to Kevin and People Born on May 6th...leaving Chinese Astrology now and off into more direct "fortune telling" methods.

People born on May 6 have an uncanny ability to turn people's irrational behaviors into sound decisions.  Could there be a better set of talents for someone in the Luxury Condo market?  Seriously, when someone wants to pay $10 million dollars for a condo, There is no one better than someone born on May 6th to fine tune that objective, which might seem irrational to some professionals, into a wise choice of "which" $10 million condo.  I'm sure many reading this will think spending $10 million for a condo is irrational thinkig.  So Kevin's role in the Luxury Condo business suits his talents to a "T".

But let's get to Kevin's overall Destiny and what he's supposed to do with "the rest" of his life.  Oh Jeez, this is a tough one for Kevin.  His lifelong objective is to reach a level of contentment.  That makes a lot of sense.  Kevin is driven.  Kevin is always trying to push ahead even when where he might be seen by many as good enough.  Never "good enough" for Kevin.  There's always a bigger and better way to do it. 

Today is Kevin's Birthday and here is his Birthday Challenge.  Get a blank piece of paper and write down all of the things you will need to be "content".  Date it and put it away.  Every day on your birthday open that envelope and when you can read that list and know you have accomplished it...then it is time to be "content" and that is your life's goal.  Not to find your way to more and more success, but to find your way to contentment.

When we started Project Blogger together you hit the nail right on the head with your post on writing your Blog in a way that will draw MORE people that you will like and will like you.  That is the key to your contentment.  A daily business life that involves more and more people you are truly happy to be around and less and less people that you really don't like being around.  That is the good life you seek, and it is apparently my job, as your Coach, to help you get there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!!!  Hope you are feeling better today.  If not...get stinking drunk :)
