7 Comments on Real Estate Home Buyers Tax Incentive Bill - February 2009
I'm hoping that this bill will pass and help create some new home buyers in the market.
Hi Bob and Carolin,
The housing industry needs help---personally, I believe if the money that went to bail out the banks had been used to buy up the "bad loans", we'd be well on our way to recovery by now.
Finally they have proposed something that would have a meaningful impact. Hopefully it gets through!
If what I hear is going to happen happens, it should be a heck of another boom in the real estate industry, especially with first time home buyers...
I heard they stripped out the $15,000 tax credit for home buyers. I think it's amazing that everyone blames real estate for the crisis but no one seems to be able to do anything about housing.
I had several first time home buyers stop by my open house today and they all seemed to be buzzing about the new legislation set to be signed soon...
Does anyone know if the 2008 incentive and 2009 incentive can be combined?
