 Here are some very famous Buddha Statues from Ragon, Myanmar in South East Asia.

 This photo above is a very small part of the huge temple where all the statues and structures are located. People come from around the world to meditate her and donate money for respect, good fortune, good health, and a happy life.

 Please feel free to judge my photographs as you wish, it helps me to learn what others really like in a my photos. So when I take photographs and travel to other countries I have a good idea what everyone really likes.

 (Photo below #4) - if you look real close at the very bottom middle you can see the heads of monks going into a tunnel below the statues to meditate. These are very large statues.

 The last photo below is #6 and there is a nun in the photograph. The monks in Burma wear the color orange and the nuns wear pink.

These were difficult to rate. Honestly they're all awesome Robert.  I thought the gold in number 4 was a little overwhelming but seeing how large those statues are is amazing.

I personally like shots where there are locals in the picture.  Great photos - when did you visit?  If recently, how is the current political situation?

Ryan- Burma's political situation is not very good, my wife and many of her relatives are from there. I have been there twice and will be going again this your, I really enjoy traveling around Burma and South East Asia.

Robert- Fascinating subject matter....love seeing different things from different countries.  Amazing how large these statues are and everything iconic for this religion.  Nice pictures, but sorry I can't rate them :)
