31 Comments on Speechless Sunday ~ The Eyes Have It!
Libby ~ Very good eye you have! The color is a bit more red than reality, but it IS a tile roof. :)
Michael ~ LOL! Good one. I, too, lke the reflection in the iris. Thanx!
Chris Ann ~ I have to be careful not to be constantly bragging on my two daughters. They are both extremely gifted and passionate, in their own areas. Thank you!
Hi Randy-This is way cool. I think it is great that you pointed out the reflection that I or someone else would have missed otherwise. great job. :-)
Sharon ~ Thanks a million! Glad you liked it, too! :)
Randy, more than the window of the soul here, the mirror of the photographer. Great detail in this photo for sure.
Hey Gary ~ Nice to hear from you! And in your normal style, what a poetic, romantic comment! Thnx! :)
Very cool pic within a pic, Randy and I love your new star background...how did you do that? I checked out Raine Nordby and she and I have something in common...I read her very first post which is fun to do sometimes. She did a good intro post about herself......Got any good names for the new welocome group?
Hi Jane! Are you still alive, after previewing all those houses this weekend? ;-) I can't divulge the secret source of my new background just yet; I'm still trying to decide if I like it. After dark, it's perfect! But in the mornings, does it fit? I have a couple of ideas about a name, but I'll email you directly about them. Hope you did well this weekend! :)
Randy: NICE Shot!
Thanks, Kat! Matt's still doing a rain dance, and even tho I suggested Peyote, nothing's happening. Looks like you're getting enough, tho! LOL
Great photo....your daughter has a great "eye" for photography....very creative.
Hey Emelyn ~ Thank you very much! I've posted some of her photos before - Butterflies - and hope to post more in the future, expecially on Wednesdays and Sundays. Glad you enjoyed this one!
Randy, that is a really cool photo!
Randy, how cool that is. What kind of camera doth your daughter use? That's excellent. ;-)
Thank you very much, Pat!
Teri, I believe Jeni has a Canon XTI. She's already had several, but it's her eye, feel and passion for photography that makes all the difference with her. Her pics blow me away, and yes, it's way cool!
Randy- that is *very* cool. It reminds me of something I saw somewhere... photography experts were extracting reflections from very old photographs and enhancing them to determine even more from the time period of the photographs. I didn't realize that there could be that much detail in a pupil.
Hi Chuck! I'm with you, man - the detail in the reflection is mind boggling. Studying old photos looking for things like that sounds VERY interesting work. I better Google it and see what else I can find out about it. Always good to have you stop by! :)
Hummmmmmmm, nice eye color................may have to take a photo of my eyes are they are a green - hazel with yellow and brown flexs.
I think you should do it, Julie, and post your eyes on Wordless Wednesday or Speechless Sunday. :)
Your daughter may not have seen this, but it speaks so much to the innocence of youth. Raw eyebrows, not plucked, no wrinkles... just pure, fresh, innocent openness. Love it.
Hey Sally... that freshness and youthfulness is the first thing that caught my attention, but I think you're right - I don't think it was the intention of Jenifer to capture that aspect. It just happened. Thanks again for checking out her works. Glad you enjoyed them! :)
