I wrote a post on my mortgage advice website on the Senate passing the tax credit on home buying which is hoped will stimulate the housing market.

This is a "bailout" for Realtors and Home Builders...which does NOT stimulate the economy...but it sure can slow down the housing market from hitting a supportable Demand vs. Supply equilibrium.

Democracy = every man/organization for themselves, damn the consequences!

Let's see, a large part of our current economic issues were caused by a real estate bubble.  So, rewind and let's try it again!

I can't believe Congress caved-in on this one!  I hope they don't approve the subsidized purchase mortgage rate.

Such short sightedness will only prolong the current recession.

I agree.  This sucks.  They are going to sell future generations into inconceivable debt to prop up today's ridiculoust housing prices.
