My passon can be summed up in one word---HELPING.
It's no surprise that I truly find myself 100% energized when I am helping. My top two career choices as I faced college were nurse or teacher, but my Mom won. I went into Broadcasting and graduated a Speech Communications major. I worked in Newspaper and Radio, which were a lot of fun, but never seemed to fit.
In my career as a Realtor, I am blessed to have so many ways to help. Helping my fellow agents through teaching. Helping new agents with mentoring. Helping the first time buyer find the perfect place to call home. Helping the distressed home owner, who can no longer afford to stay in the home they love, aoid foreclosure through ashort sale. Helping clients make adjustments as they move from one home to another. Each of these aspects of my career give me purpose as I wake up each morning, raring to get to work. There are aspects of that teacher and nurse that come through everyday in my chosen career.
In my personal life my passion is helping those without a voice. Animals. You may not think an animal can speak to you, but just like humans, they communicate with their eyes and actions. You just need to know how to listen. I get so much joy from rescuing strays, or finding unwanted animals homes. Everyone deserves a home and a person that will love them. There isn't always a happy ending, but the joy of helping those you can is worth everything else.
