Deb, she really is a beautiful horse.  I wish I'd grown up with those big old animals so I wouldn't be afraid of them.

Don - Well, no.  I am selling my horse and buying my sister's horse, though.  (not Shivers) Know anybody in the market for a sweet Arabian...?     :)

Barbara - Maybe if you started off getting to know a colt or a filly, you could work your way up to bigger horse... Not all horses are huge, either...  :)

Debi  - Shivers is very beautiful.  Oooh makes me reminisce about my childhood and college days taking hunt seat and dressage lessons and working at the Michigan State University Vet hospital taking care of all the horses.  I miss those days.  Still don't have my own horse.  Maybe one day though.  For now the fuzzy, stinky, hairy dog keeps me happy.

Jessica -  I don't have a dog anymore...When I was growing up, we had a toy poodle named "Fu-Fu".  She actually did back flips (self-taught) when she was excited...  Fun memories!  :)

Well I always figured horses were just big dogs.  Not as hairy though.
