The 2009 Stimulus bill being considered in the Senate and House this week includes a new Tax Incentive for Home Buyers of $15,000.   Wow, that is alot of money!  This is a Tax Credit, not a Tax deduction - Translated - a check from Uncle Sam for $15K.   I have heard differing news as to whether this is for First Time Homebuyers only (those who haven't owned a home in the past 3 years), or if it is open to all home buyers.   I think the opportunity is incredible, especially when coupled with the bargain basement prices for Homes & Condo's in California & Florida.   We will post more facts as we are able to verify the actual Legislation Language included in the Stimulus bill.
