Our Mission Statement ... French Real Estate, Inc. (Ocean City, New Jersey)

A few years ago (maybe 7-8 years) several members of our staff got together to write a "mission statement" for our agency, French Real Estate, Inc.  Clearly, I think we did a good job (note the "we," as I was a part of the writing team).  We tried to differentiate ourselves because indeed each and every real estate office in Ocean City, New Jersey has its own personality.  Obviously, all of the participating real estate agents in each agency also add to that evolving process of shaping and reshaping the processes of each agency.

Considering all of that, it is an important aspect of the "buying or selling process" for a buyer or owner to know and understand the agent that they might, or will, be working with as well as the agency that the agent represents.  Here is "Our Mission Statement:

French Real Estate is about traditions,

about its seventy plus years of business at #1 Atlantic Avenue in Ocean City.

French Real Estate is also about service, about its continuing effort to bring clients

that extra help in order to buy, to sell, or to rent a shore property.

French Real Estate is also about family and staff, about it family-based experience

and its outstanding staff of new and experienced agents.

Finally, French Real Estate is about change, about its new role in technology,

and its web-site and Internet connections.

French Real Estate pledges to its clients a level of service about the rest ...

before, during, and after the sale ... a full service agency, but one that knows and

understands the client's needs and wants and expectations.  And we act accordingly.

I arrived at French Real Estate back in 1988 purchasing my "second home," a 1920s two-bedroom cottage a couple blocks from the office on St James Place along the long "800" beachblock running to the ocean.  I was still working in the "real world" at that time.  Later in the early 1990s, we purchased another single family and used it as a summer rental property.  A couple year later we sold those two properties and purchased a lot in our present location ... but we did a complete renovation a few years ago building up from the original footprint.

For the first purchase I was a French client; for the remaining purchases and sales I was a French Agent.  I'm still only a few blocks from that same 1921 office right between where the Northend stops and the Gardens begins.  It's the third generation of French family members here right now with a fourth generation getting ready to come on board ... I'm hoping to have worked with 3 out of the 4 generations here.

Why go into detail about all of this?  Because it is important to know who you are working with, how long they have been around, and what they have been doing thoughout that time.  As a staff member, I feel a part of this relationship ... "I am French Real Estate too."  Stop by and say hello.  It's a friendly location here in Ocean City, New Jersey.                          Dap
