Here's some great advice, be sure you have a few great insurance agents to work with. I had a client recently that was paying close to $200 more a month for her existing insurance policy than what my affiliate quoted her at. He drove out to her property and noticed that she was categorized improperly as having farm animals on the property. Now she's saving an additional $2400 a year simply by my having a great agent by my side! The insurance agent also showed up when she signed her docs to give her her paperwork and shake her hand. To have me the broker,the insurance agent and the escrow officer there, I know she felt served :)
