With the newest version of Top Producer 8i out and on the prowl, I thought I would take a couple minutes and highlight what some of the major differences I have found between Top Producer 7i and Top Producer8i. Below is a quick power point video.

I hope this information helps and you can find some benefit with the newest version of Top Producer 8i. I also spoke with a rep last week and she said that they will be releasing some more user friendly upgrades to Top Producer 8i in April so stay tuned...

You are my research guru. I don't use tracking software, perhaps because I started before computers, but rely on software provided through open office.

How do you justify the expense?

Travis - GREAT POST! Thank you!  I have been putting off switching as I didn't like the change (who does like change).  I talked to the TP reps at KW Megacamp last August and they told me basically ----- NOTHING!  They told me I would get used to it.  I figured that I could just as easily and for less cost "get used to" WiseAgent.  I just hadn't made the switch yet.  Maybe I will give 8i a try before I switch to another Db program.  Thanks again!  PS - I flagged you for a feature.  Hopefully the AR Gods take note.

Rick-Thanks for the comments! I would say if you are familiar with Top Producer 7i - 8i is not to far off - it just takes some time to find where everything is and getting used to it. David-I am not sure if I am answering your question exactly but I am assuming you are talking about the expense of Top Producer - Top Producer can be more than just a fancy address book. You can automate emails, you can create listing and closing plans, you can customize anything you want. I use Top Producer for my consulting business because it is so versitile. I have also spent a lot of time using it as well (3+ years) so I am very familiar with it. There may be better software out there - I always tell agents the best software and system you can use is the one you use and works for you.
