A NEW FACE IN THE CROWD

Sorry to have been away from AR for so long. I guess sometimes life gets in the way. But anyway, this is part of the reason for my absence... my new grandbaby!

A welcome new face "Jacob Kevin" born Feb 6

He was 7 lbs. 3 oz. Born 12:45 PM Feb 6, 2009.

I wonder if he has any idea how spoiled he's going to be. :))

Since they gave the baby that name I am pleased he is a boy. Would they have used your name even if it was a girl?

I had noticed that you were missing, but this is the BEST reason for absence! What a little angel! Mine is already 5 years old, and is the light of my life! Enjoy, and congratulations!

I just figured out that it is waaaayy cool to be a grandparent! You know what is waaayy cool? (You get to spoil 'em, keep 'em for a little while... and then ... send them back home, just in time for mom to change diapers... well that works MOST of the time... lol).

Hi Kevin (and Barb too!) - Congratulations on your new addition. As grandparents we all understand the rules: spoil those grandchildren and then send them back to their parents lol I know lol it is a bit of a "payback" but also enjoyable lol Best wishes!

Sorry I'm late on this, but Congratulations on your blessing. I am "expecting" my first grand child on Sept 30 and I cannot wait. I know I will be as proud as you and Barb are now. Aren't babies awesome?
