These 4 top producing Realtors shared secrets to their success at the

Business Resource Meeting for Southern Alameda County Chapter of

Women's Council of Realtor's at the Radisson Hotel in Dublin.

Highlights from today:

Avoid unresourceful people.

Face to face is more important than ever-avoid all day computer relationships!

Attend weekly Realtor marketing meetings, volunteer, community involvement is essential.

New marketing must be done repeatedly and direct mail advertising is effective. Home Folio Magazine    has been a great addition to our valley.

Open houses must be done every weekend to sell a listing.

 Never stop educating buyers.

Pick a manageable geographic area to farm and purchase comfortable shoes!

 Use your sphere of influence-ALWAYS!

Utilize free services on the internet..ie, facebook, blogging, linkedin, plaxo.

Wear your name badge everywhere, everyday!!

Much success to all!  Cathy Lee

Thank you for sharing that list with us, Cathy!  That face-to-face connection with people is key.  The internet is a great and wonderful tool, but it can't replace the one-on-one interaction you can have with a real live person.

Cathy I am so on board with you with the face to face time. That is where the real relationship develops.

Cathy: Speaking of face time, it was so nice to see you on Monday at the stagers networking event here in Los Angeles. I am so greatful you took the time and spent the money to fly down here to attend.

Thanks for posting these tips. They will be helpful for all in the real estate industry, not just Realtors.

Sounds like a great event! Very true about face-to-face. If they don't see you, they won't remember you.

Face to face time is so critical. I just had a "coffee meeting" with a Mortgage Broker, and we had so much fun getting to know each other, we can't wait to refer people to each other! I have met the neatest people in networking groups. Email contacts are so easy, yet not nearly as fruitful. Get out and meet people!

HI Michelle and Annie!  It was so wonderful to see you and the event "hit the ball out of the ballpark!"  I am so happy I went and the icing on the cake was the "face time".

HI Peg!  Some of my best referrals are from Mortgage Brokers-reciprocal, personal referrals are the way to build your business strong.

One of the real estate offices that I work closely with as part of their team, has started a Blitz - part of the owner's coaching program.  Each week we have a different group to focus on relationship building with.  It has been fantastic to have this push to go out and meet with the people who will help my business grow each week.  It certainly does make a difference when you hav a comfortable relatinship with people face to face.
