Mana... I was thinking the Southern Portion of Los Angeles County or North Orange County, that way those from San Diego might be willing to drive up. That's not a truly convenient drive for me, but it's not all about me.  And, no, I can't tell who has voted. I have the poll set to allow only one vote per user, however. It places a cookie in the browser.

I'm not sure how my vote got counted - I clicked on "view the poll", then tried to vote on "other" but it said my vote had already been counted.  I think a late afternoon (4:00 ish) would be good, then if everyone is having a good time, it can keep going. 

But, I will probably come to either!

Sounds like a great time! I wish I was in the area. Please keep the Seattle market in mind for future!

That's my birthday.  I was planning on flying the kids here from there that day so I could spend my birthday with my grand daughter.  But if that doesn't work out...

Ann... I have only been to NH once, in the peak fall season. Rocky and I drove through on the way to Vermont from Maine. It's the only time I've seen a bear in the wild. A cub. I can still vividly remember him crossing the road in front of us and thinking... wow, that's a big dog. :) I'd love to get back some day.

All... I'm going to leave the poll open until mid morning. Then move on whatever the total is at that time.

My hubby Mel and I will be there (wherever and whenever there is) with bells on.  I voted for the evening thing, but whatever works for everyone is fine with me.  If it winds up being a bbq, I will happily offer up a dessert.  I can hardly wait till 6/9. 

I will happily offer up Claremont as a meeting destination, just outside of L.A., (about 45 minutes by freeway) just off the freeway from S.D. (about 1 1/2 hrs or so), right close to Ontario Airport (10 mins.), great restaurants, lovely parks, teriffic hotels, you name it. 

Also, let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help.  I also have a balloon decor/party company so if the event warrants it, and if the location allows it, I would be happy to offer up my services for some festive decor, and should kids be involved, I have connections in the moon bounce world and a friend that brings amazing margaritas and the machine as well.  Just let me know.

OK ALL! It appears the vote is in and we're going to do an evening gathering. I am awaiting the budget from Lydia and I'll begin the quest for a location shortly. Tisza, I may take you up on your offer to assist. Anyone else willing to take on a few smaller tasks, just let me know.

Sounds like fun... will try to attend - just need to double check my date.
