Buyers that worry about the monthly payment amount

Typical Scenario - The buyer and seller are negotiating, the seller is not coming down enough to make the buyer comfortable with the monthly payment amount, but the buyer really wants the house.

Here is something to think about..........for every $1000 of purchase price of the home, the monthly payment amount only changes about $7 per month. So if the buyer and seller are haggling over $3000 in purchase price and the buyer really wants the house, that is $21 per month.

So.............Question to the buyer - will you loose the home you really want over $21 per month? Just something to think about.

Brad & Angela, Great point! Now if we could only get buyers to understand that there is only about $25 difference between a so-so inspection/company and a great inspection...
