Attention Maryland, DC, Virginia and PA Buffini-ites- and any others who are flying in to town.

CircusOn Monday the circus is coming to Baltimore. The ring leader, ticket collector and every possible act you can think of all rolled into one is going to be in the house.

Obviously I am referring to Brian Buffini!  brian buffini

The Turning point Retreat is a members only event. It's close enough to home (for me) that I do not have to get up and get ready as normal folk go to bed and it's only 1 day long, which suits my ADD just fine!!!!!

What a great opportunity to catch up with fellow ACTIVE RAINERS who are going to be in the masses listening to BB's words of marketing wisdom.

Wanna do lunch?

(Dutch of course- Brian is not picking up the check!)

It is a gratis event after all!

It would be great to put a face to a blog and meet you in person.

Ellie:  I have been to two of Brian's Turning Point Retreats.  He truly puts on a great show... but with lots of "meat" to use in our businesses.  Two years ago this week I attended his One Hundred Days to Greatness Mentor training program, and became a Buffini Certified Mentor.  Buffini is cool.  Thanks so much for sharing... I just know you will enjoy your time with Brian.  Take care...

Hi Ellie,

I am unable to attend; however, do you provide open houses?  As a Southern Living at Home consultant, I have typically hosted parties and had other people host parties for their friends and collegues in their homes.  The parties are a lot of fun, and the Hostess Rewards Program is AMAZING!!  See the chart below.

I recently attended an open house of a real estate broker acquaintance of mine, and she informed me about Active Rain.  In speaking to her, I realized that marketing Southern Living at Home products to brokers and agents can be mutually benefitial.  Southern Living at Home products are absolutely beautiful, and they are great gifts for contests and new home buyers.  Or to use for your own home - however, you want to use them.

If you host an open house and tell realtors and/or prospective home buyers that you are going to have a Southern Living at Home gift show, for example, then this may entice realtors/prospective home buyers to linger at the open house, enabling them to better envision what some of the beautiful Southern Living at Home products would look like in the home.  They can then pass those ideas on to prospective buyers to help them envision owning the home.

Let me know what you think about these ideas and if you would like me to attend one of your open houses and bring some products with me to show.  I am very low-key and relaxed in my approach to Southern Living at Home products because the products almost sell themselves.  Every month, I have hostess and customer specials.  Below are links to my February and March Specials.

I would be happy to provide references from my hostesses.  Thanks so much for your consideration, and I will look forward to speaking to you soon.

Sincerely,

Betsy Paul, Southern Living at Home Consultant
