I sat an open house this past Sunday in a gated neighborhood. I put the code on the keypad so folks could get in (which is against the rules!!), put it in the paper and had 5 people show up. they all LOVED it and ended up writing an offer and having it accepted later that evening!! Are Open Houses coming back??

I don't know if they're coming back, but at Weichert we try to make open houses as much of an event as we can. Unfortunately many areas around here have adopted strict 'No Sign' type laws and the only sign you're allowed is the one in the yard of the home you're holding open. Ballons are even restricted! It sure doesn't help!
