The price of postage is going up again!  On May 11, 2009 the price of a first class stamp is going from .42 cents to .44 cents.  This is just going to push more and more business to use email more than snail mail.  Many people still like to receive snail mail because it is more personal than email.  Will this increase make you do business differently?

What persons do not know is that the USPS was put back under budget years ago.  Congress can then take the profits out the back door...the same as Social Security.  It is no surprise that their rates rise even when they are making profits.

I can't remember the last time I mailed anything. Email and Fedex is the only way to go.

I still snail mail custom cards to past clients once a quarter.  My daughter makes wonderfully creative cards for me -- it's a great and personal way for us to keep in touch with past clients -- and that is about the only snail mailing I do... and will continue to do.
