Yankee's spring training starts tomorrow in Florida, but the spring market has already begun in Fairfield County. When clients here that the optimum time to put their home on the market is for the "Spring Market", most believe that it means April or May...not so. Traditionally in Fairfield County it begins the week following Super Bowl Sunday. Even though most feel a house sells better when the grass is green and the flowers are blooming if you wait for that, you've missed the market. Most buyers would like to move in June so that they have the summer to acclimate to their new surroundings.
If you missed the traditional start, then jump in now with the start of baseball spring training! Hopefully your home will be sold by the throw of the first pitch!
