The Photographer, Glen Scott of London, may have photographed the coolest storefront ever.

Here's his Flickr Page Photograph (photo available under the Creative Commons):

And here's the best part... the knobs? They go up to 11.

So... you know it's authentic.

That is a cool storefront.  I have no idea why the knobs would go to 11.

Lynda- It's a reference from the mockumentary "This is Spinal Tap"

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...

Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?

Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.

Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

Marty DiBergi: I don't know.

Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?

Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.

Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

Okay, I was going to ask if it had anything to do with spinal tap...now I think better of that...might it also have been to blow out the amp for fun when you're done? Or to increase the shock level of touching one of those things in a polyster suit of the 60's???? LOL! VERY cool storefront...I wonder if it works?

Chuck, that is absolutely amazing -- what a storefront.  I'm going to forward this to one of my rockstar friends.

Chuck,

That is neat.  They took an ugly front and jazzed it up.  A classic.

Hi Chuck--

That is sooo much fun!  Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. It's been awhile!  I'm on a tear to get my markets updated and lots of visibility.  Still have the Lake Tahoe/Truckee market, but now that I'm also working the wine country, Napa area, things have really expanded.  And I've moved my base to the San Rafael (Marin Co. north of San Francisco) Coldwell Banker office.  I now have a pretty wide territory to cover!  I'm loving it.  Napa is so beautiful.  Today I got to see a property that will be coming on the market for $50M.  Yeah, that's not a typo!  Incredible.  Know anyone who needs a trophy home, location and acreage?  I'd be more than happy to pay a referral!  ;- )
