The internationally acclaimed Mainly Mozart Festival starts Valentine's weekend with the Mainly Mozart Spotlight Series.

Featured artists will be Cynthia Phelps, principal violist of the New York Philharmonic; James Ehnes, violinist; and Julie Albers; cellist.

Featured music will be:

  • Divertimento in E-flat major, K. 563, by Wolfgang A. Mozart
  • Trio in B-flat, D. 471, by Franz Schubert
  • Serenade in C. Op. 10, by Erno Dohnanyi

Peformance locations are:

  • The Neurosciences Institute, 10640 John Jay Hopkins Dr., La Jolla
    Friday, Feb. 13, and Saturday, Feb. 14. Both performances at 8:00 p.m.
    Tickets are $48
  • St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 6628 Santa Isabel St., Carlsbad
    Sunday, Feb. 15, 2:00 p.m.
    Tickets are $25
  • The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, 5951 Linea del Cielo, Rancho Santa Fe
    Sunday, Feb. 15, 6:30 p.m.
    Tickets are $60
    There's a reception at 5:30, and an optional post-concert dinner with the artists is available at additional cost.

Jim ... love the way you keep all informed on the great wealth of activities in your area.  I imagine you have your email data base of past clients, sphere, etc. that you send all these great "touches" to as well.  Wonderful way to stay connected and spread the wonderful word of these opportunities.  Keep up the great work!
