Friday the 13th. Bad Luck? Not at our House!

We don't usually believe in bad luck or are very superstitious.  Today is no different.

The morning started typical...Walked out feed the pets and fired up the outdoor boiler.  We just had  a 1/2 of rain and everything is ice.  I was taking the ashes out from the boiler and I slipped and fell on arm and should.  My face slammed into my arm.  I heard a pop.  I thought I broke an arm, but no,  I broke my top dentures in 1/2. 

My wife had left for Curves earlier and while I was super-glueing my teeth, when my wife calls and says she has a flat tire.   I go into town and swap cars.  I inflate the tire and drive to the shop.  I then call my father-in-law and we meet at Mc Donalds.  I am carrying our tray when someone gets up suddenly and runs right into me.  The tray with coffee and and pancakes goes flying.  The lady felt so bad, but Ronald was nice and replaced our food for us.

It is now almost 10:30 and my tire is fixed.  As I am walking to the door of the repair shop...THERE IT IS!!!  A bright shinny new PENNY!  My lucky day!  Yup, no bad luck in our household!
