HELP HOMELESS PETS! Bark to the Park

By
Real Estate Agent with EXIT Real Estate Consultants

Each year over 23,000 dogs and cats enter municipal shelters in Richland and Lexington Counties and each year over 19,000 of these same animals are euthanized due to lack of space and resources. Sadly most of these pets are healthy and adoptable.

Project Pet is working hard to save thousands of animals from certain euthanasia and to end the overpopulation of animals in our community through responsible adoption, wide-scale spay/neuter initiatives and education.

Your participation in Bark to the Park directly supports these ongoing efforts and will make an immediate impact on the community in which you live.

We are looking for a team of agents and employees to walk and raise money for a___________team!

That's a lot of animals. I don't think the number is that high here for all of San Diego County. There was a boom, so to speak, at the animal shelters last year when foreclosures hit hard. Pets were one of the first to suffer.
