Are you a newbie blogger or a non-posting member? Maybe you have been commenting for some time and are afraid to just jump in? I challenge you to challenge yourself!
When I started blogging I wasn't sure how I wanted to present myself or what I wanted to get out of blogging. To be honest, I thought it would be one of the cool things that I found on the internet, something to try out, wasn't sure if I would bother, heck I thought it would be just a phase.
Yes I subscribed to all of them, yahoo 360, msn-live, myspace, aol-hometown among others and then there was Activerain. It was love at first sight! Once I started I couldn't keep my mouth shut, I saw it coming, something really incredible, something I definitely wanted to be part of. I told everyone about it, heck I even announced at a sales meeting, "Get blogging, us blogger's are TIME magazine's," Person of the Year!"
I studied, I commented then finally I wrote my first post! Oh yeah, what a feeling! In my mind there is something quite different with this network, everyone is learning, everyone seems friendly, I think it will be ok if I am not perfect. I think I am just going to jump right in and just learn as I go.

"Wow, I am pretty good at this and you know what I loved it, every single moment." Who would have ever guessed it would become such a crucial part of my life? OK, you think I am exaggerating, strong words right? hmmmm, I don't think so. Just ask around!
For a while I sat on the sidelines, I knew if I didn't get started it would have been just another phase. Time will pass by whether I post or not and the only person I am hurting is myself for not trying.
In celebration of Activerain's first Mother's Day, I challenge all newbies and non-posting members to post and participate. Whether it's posting an actual post or whether it's comments, whatever challenge you are willing to take, throw yourself in the mix, it would be fun to stir things up and celebrate Mother's Day, ActiveRain style.
Happy Mother's Day! I never tried any of the other blogs before Active Rain. I thought I would not have any interest in them. That changed when I checked out Active Rain.
