Active Rain Top Spots!

WOW, this was the spot that I thought we would never ever reach- the coveted spot above the fold on the Active Rain Florida page!

We are now in the #3 most points in Florida underneath our friends; Sharon Simms and Broker Bryant!!!

When I first started on Active Rain in late June of 2007 I just wanted to be #1 in Wellington Florida! Well, that was so easy I just kept on going! But never in a million years did I think that I would ever reach the top 10 much less the top 3 in all of Florida which is a hugely competitive state on Active Rain.

Guess what! YOU CAN TOO!!!!

Congrats! The same thing happened to me. I just wanted to be #1 in my town...then it was my county, then top 25 in the state....now I would be happy to be top 10 in Wisconsin, as there are some large point earners here! It is like a race, you just keep trying to pass the person in front of you, one at a time.

I became one of the featured agents here in Manhattan pretty quickly. Getting to the top in the state of New York will take some time, probably at least a year or so of dedicated blogging. Being consistent with original content is the key.

There are 267 West Virginia Real Estate Profiles and I am now #3. And, #1 in Lewisburg WV. IT is a good feeling. Congrats on you moving on up!

Jeff Geoghan- I don't get the paper, I don't read the news except on line once a week or so. I watch Glenn or Hannity a couple of times a week and I read our mls news to keep up with our current market. People tell me, my kids call me to tell me what is going on and of course I get the twitter short versions of what is going on. But I tell my kids- don't ruin my day today! Unless it is something that pertains to a hurricane coming here or Congressional idiocy, I don't want to know! Of course I am politically active and involved because you have to be if you care but on the other hand, I will not allow it to consume me.

You let me know when I need to be there to help you:)

Bryant- Oh my! This will be second week that I won't have made my 10 posts in! We are so busy, more busy than ever even with help. Like today on a Saturday, our phone did not stop ringing with buyer agents setting up showings! The buyers are out today! That was my blogging time:( Oh well, I will catch up. Thanks for your friendship and vote of confidence:) Say hello to TLW- she is more important than AR.

Katerina - When I first started here on AR, someone said that it might be tough for me to garner a featured spot in Austin, since it's a relatively big city. I never would have imagined that I would be #1 in Texas. The quickest way to get me to achieve something is to tell me it's not possible. :)

For the longest time, I didn't pay attention to the 1st and 2nd places above the fold because I glances there and thought it was advertising. I finally realized that they were the top spots! Anyway, you are in good company!

Hey Katerina - I know that feeling! I only been on Active Rain for about ... err 4 months? I am on #4 for New York county. And Morgan is one of the feature member! He has the #2 spot. When he bumped off the old #2 (now #3) person, that person did a post of how he took few weeks of vacation and now that he is bumped off...! As always, being on top of your game is a daily practice, on Active Rain or in Real Life!

Like you, I enjoy climbing. Sometimes it can become an addiction too - if I'm not careful.... I must say I used to view it more competitively but I didnt want my life consumed by AR. So, I dont monitor top spots as much anymore. I doubt I could beat those 4 head of me anyways.

Sally- although thank goodness I never feel like a machine, it mostly all comes from my heart, except for market reports, of course, that is likely why I don't do many of those:)
