Which home improvements give the best payback?left

If you're considering doing some remodeling on your current home, instead of buying a house, there are a number of factors that go into determining how well a project will pay back. Payback value depends a lot on the current market conditions in your area. If the market is hot and homes are selling fast, you can expect a higher payback value than you would get in a slow market.

Robert- Good point. I'll have to check my other files to see if I have that data. I would think that she add close to the full price paid.

This is a great way to add value to your home, without breaking the bank. Keep in mind which improvements will bring the highest return if you're planning to sell!
