An invitation to Costa RicaSometimes it's better to show a little than a lot. Rather than show the whole facade of this $3,500,000 estate in Costa Rica, this shows you the warmth, the woods, the detail, the welcoming, comforting feeling. I think it conveys more emotion than one with more details:

More details of Costa Rica estateThis lets you see more of the details - not only the wood and the brick, but the barrel tiles and the arches and the clerestory windows. It tells more, but I don't think it has the impact.

Which do you prefer?

Sharon, that sounds like a really fun trip - combining a vacation and looking at fabulous homes!  Does it get any better?  And I think I like the second one - the roof is so cool!

Such a beautiful country. Although we spent most of our time backpacking through the jungles and rain forest areas, I was struck buy how well kept and tidy that the cities and urban areas were and i love the different architectural details!! Looks like you had a great time!

Hi Sharon,

Interesting perspective. Acutally I like #1, however I think it could be better with a little more of the upper arch showing, vs. being cut off. And I'd also have the lights on.

One way or the other it's spectacular.

Beautiful, Sharon, just beautiful.  I like the top photo but with more arch showing as others have said.  Someday you will have to tell us how you got into Costa Rica real estate.

Hi Sharon, Happy Valentines Day! What a stunning home. I went to CR some 20 years and I don't recall seeing homes like this back then.

Pat - our entire lives are combining fun and work.

Russell - I love that Costa Rica has something for everyone, from the untouched areas for backpacking to the luxurious Four Seasons.

Neal - I liked thm, too.

Lynda - good suggestions if I list the property.

Shirley - I'll post on that this morning.

William - it's not your typical Costa Rican home!

Kathy - and that doesn't even show the brook that flows beyond the lanai.

Love Number 1!  Just like you say, it shows the richness of the wood, it also awakes the curiosity about the interior hidden behind those doors.

If you are willing to buy a house, you would have to get the personal loans. Moreover, my mother commonly takes a student loan, which supposes to be the most useful.
