Fran, thank you for this great info.  I attended this wonderful webinar but missed the first few minutes.  I am going to play back again now!  I like your idea of creating a webinar about Home Retention for homeowners.

This blog is now featured at http://activerain.com/groups/virtualoffice

Regina, Let's make it happen .. a Home Retention Webinar for homeowners. Call me and we will put it on the calendar and then we will get viral with consumers! 484-554-6001 (cell).  We can make a event project list and make it part of this Bloginar.

Thanks for posting this.  I have been listening to bits and pieces.  I have paid for featured listings but I maybe interested in advertising more to get buyer's and sellers to contact me.

Thanks!

This is a really great post regarding webinars. I too have been on many where the technology is so confusing that the host gets distracted and not only begins late but has trouble focusing on the subject at hand. Using an basic HTML page is possible, but I don't feel like it gives the best presentation overall. GoToMeeting has become very popular and they do have some great tools. After the initial 30 day free trial though, they can become a bit on the expensive side.

I recently came across a new company that began as a marketing system for internet marketers. But in their tool package is a very cutting edge webinar platform. The toolbar is easier to understand than GoToMeeting. In fact it is more user friendly than any other platform I've yet seen for this purpose. They also have a full invitation system/follow-up system that allows you to load in a list of people either individually or from a list or excel file. You are notified of RSVP's and also of who actually made it to the meeting. You have unlimited usage and your personal room will accomodate up to 120 people. The crazy cost of this is only $35 per month. And the silliest part is that it is just one tool in a larger system...I don't know if they even realize yet what they are sitting on and that they can market to many industries outside of their initial target audience. Because it is an affiliate company, you can also make commissions when others sign up for the system.

I think people should jump on this one before they realize what they've got, and raise the price.  Read more about it on this blog post.

Deborah, That Webinar platform does not look very cost competitive when you factor the MLM $$$ and the room size ..

GoToWebinar will host 1,000 people, you can RECORD the sessions, and there is lots of technology support.

Other platforms hold great promise, including DimDim and Yugma.

I do not share your excitement for that MLM product. Sorry.

Regina, I've been attending foreclosure events in Tucson and I am ready for that Home Retention Webinar ... will work on that soon!
