Whatever happened to all the real estate experts on late night infomercials? Hah! Whats the matter? Can't sell that stuff in this market? Good, geez those pay ads were irritating. Look at me, I have expensive cars, boats, a mansion, and I do not work anymore. So at least there is a bright side to the market place.
Whatever happened to those shows where the agent shows a family 3 homes and they pick one, write a contract, have it accepted, and it looks so so easy. Hah, put THAT show on now, I'll watch that! Cmon put a show on where folks can see what we REALLY go through to sell a home today. Can't be done, it would have at least an "R" rating. An even easier one is, what's my home worth? Who the hell knows! No soup for you! Next! We could do a show called horrors at the closing table, gee, what could go wrong there? Also we could have Vegas give odds to how long it will take a bank to respond to an offer, now THATS rolling the dice.
Whatever happened to all the big speaking engagements with tons of real estate speculators coming to your town to show you how to get rich? I think they are all motivational speakers now. So you see, with every cloud there is a silver lining. I'll know the market is better when all these folks are back, might be a while...
