Stimu-loss plan, Obama downplays expectations? That was quick!

The stimulus plan that would not even see the light of day before it was voted on by a congress which had not read it. Oh my gosh, then to eliminate the only part of the plan which I felt may actually help stabilize the housing market, the 15,000 home buyer credit portion. Now today I read an article in which President Obama downplays expectations of the plan. May I just ask the question "what was the hurry"? Have we just completely lost control or what?

The only thing I can do at this point is to focus on things close to home (family, church, work) and try not to dwell on the folly in our government. I heard a pole where 67% of the people surveyed felt they could do a better job managing our economy than the elected officials are doing. 67% seams a little low to me.

I really love this country, all I want is the best for America and all our citizens. I receive no joy when I see us sliding down the slippery slope we are on. We just need some leadership.
