We_want_youWe’re looking for a few ten good blogs!

A blogging carnival is only as good as its hosts, and we only have room for 10. Starting next Monday, there are only ten weeks left to Project Blogger, and we need your help to make them all count.

Step right up and play a part in the real estate blogosphere’s most watched event:
Project Blogger.

Weekly carnival host responsibilities:

1. Read all the submitted apprentice blog articles: Up to 12 in all.
2. Write a blog article yourself, on your blog, showcasing the Top 5 articles (your choice).
3. Have fun! Create a theme, mix it up… make us proud.

Who’s eligible?

1. Host must have never previously held any sort of blogging carnival event on their blog.
2. Host must have a blog: stand alone or ActiveRain.
3. Host must not have any official affiliation with Project Blogger.

How do you apply?

1. First come, first serve. Spots are limited.
2. Just contact us and be aware of the above.

Why host?

1. It’s fun!
2. Instant traffic boost.
3. We link back, and so will dozens of others (think SEO).
4. Be a part of history.

Please note, results from each weekly carnival have no bearing on the official results of the Project Blogger contest.
Carnival Of Project Blogger Exists For entertainment purposes only.

Jim,

I'd love to be counted in on this.  I've had alot of fun watching Project Blogger over the last few weeks.

Thanks!

Justin,

Have you ever held a blogging carnival in the past?  If not, that consider yourself the Host of Week #1.

Hey Jim,

No, I have yet to host a carnival.  I've helped Maureen Francis administer part of the AR carnival, but that's it.

Debi,

We'll set you up as Host for Week #2.  Hopefully that will give you time to patch things.

We've already got you both on the roster:

Yikes. :) Thought I might ease into it since I have never done it before. Thanks for the opportunity.

Do you mind if I ask you a question or two if I have them?

So it's 12 posts to read per week... and for 10 weeks. Reporting the favorite top 5 each week.

so we are giving a 'IMHO', I like these blogs. right?

This may be fun and I'd like to launch a personal blog in addition to AR, so this may work.

Do I have what it takes?

I've never hosted a blog carnival before, so if you still have room I'd love to volunteer for one of the open weeks.  I'm fairly colorful in my own blog, and with such good inspiration it should be a fun project!

Hi All,

I wanted to wish the hosts for this event exceptional good luck!  As it is getting fleshed out more and more, I am eagerly watching it take shape and shall also eagerly follow it's progress.

I just have one question, where can I get cotton candy and a deep fried Snicker's bar?  That would just about make the experience perfect for me :-)

Thank you to everyone who offers themselves up as a host for this event, I appreciate the time it takes to do the research and I will value everyone's opinion and advice.

Take care all, help lots of people and have a wonderful day!

Tisza

What a great idea Jim - and we get different opinions on our progress - I look forward to getting some great constructive criticism.

I'd like to participate as a host if there are spots available.  It sounds like a great experience.  I've not been a part of a Blogging Carnival before, so I look forward to the opportunity....let me know...

A fun twist...I have been reading the "hosts" blogs...I have my favorites, but I can REALLY keep a secret! None of that "kissing up" syrup is coming from me!

Jim- I know I have week 2. What specifically is that time frame so I can block time to read the posts? (ie. May 13-20) Thanks!

Debi, et al,

I will be posting a breakdown on the host responsibilities later today.  Nothing too challenging... just need to read and post by each Monday.

Woo Hoo!  P.S. I tried to follow the directions (for once in my life) but on IE7 & Moz  browers both, the contact sign up form is out of whack.
