I absolutely love the idea of promoting one another when we can! As a result, I have a project called "Twitter Friend of the Week." Each week, I'll showcase one or two of my Twitter Friends so that you can "meet" them.

One of this week's featured Twitter Friends is Cheryl Phillips of The Daily Blonde. Here's what Cheryl had to tell us:

What is your primary business?
I am a freelance writer. I can't call it a business, but it's what I do...and what I love!

What is unique about you or your business?
Me? I think I am unique because I have a no-sulking policy. I've been through great times and tough times as a single Mom of five and I take each day as it comes...with a smile. I've got some kicking inner strength.

What is one fun thing about yourself that most of us don't know?
I like to wear mismatched socks in the house. It's been something I've done for years. The funkier the better. No, I don't wear them in bed.

Do you work from home or an outside office?
Home....and the word "work" is so hard for me to say. Let's call it "things I like to do".

What is your favorite computer application?
Well, I know my least favorite was filling out financial aid forms when my daughters went to college. Oh, you don't mean THAT type of application? Well, I'd have to say Twitter. I'm an addict. Can't deny it.

What is your favorite food?
A 16 oz sirloin strip steak, medium rare. Best at Delfrisco's in Manhattan but not at all shabby when I cook it in my own kitchen.

If you could be a super hero, what would you be called and what would your super powers be?
It's a great thought, but I just don't have the time to commit to being a superhero. I also don't like to wear tights. So restricting. I already have superpowers. I can't reveal what they are here though.

What one piece of advice would you give someone who wants to get into your line of business?
Make sure you don't need a lot of money to be happy. Or find someone with money to support you.
