20 Comments on Where will all the Blogs Go?
Dinah, I don't think blogs have gotten as bad as Twitter, where what are you doing right now? WalMart food line, no swing set with the kids, no oil change. It gets absolutely ridiculous. Who created that? At least with blogging there is A LITTLE thought behind it and it is not mindless crap!!
Gary- I totally agree. Ithink it is great to really get to know one another with out the typical boundaries of time distance and culture! -Dinah Lee
Do what you think is right and you will be fine, finding the right words can keep you reading and commenting instead of blogging, like I should be doing instead of just reading and commenting and stalling, hoping for some great idea to come to mind:)
Steve- that was a great idea. write what is on your mind. -Dinah Lee
Dinah, you can consol yourself with the knowledge that our kids will be too busy blogging to go back and read our old stuff:)
Our blogs may stand the test of time much the the works of an artist or at least a diary of a departed realtive.
My offspring will certainly be able to see what an opinionated old coot I was...
I can only imagine the technology that will be available then and will what we use today be obsolete to the future generations?
Charles- You are probably right. maybe the future school will have history of the blog...Dinah Lee
Robert- it is bound to be intersting. Of course we will probably never really know-Dinah Lee
Lane- Mine too! They will probably wonder about a few of my opinions-Dinah Lee
Kelly- It is weird to think about our modern times being old, outdated and strange to them. I wonder how they will all connect?-Dinah Lee
The scary part is that I am learning a new word every day regarding blogging.....and I thought I was it 10 years ago.....then I was 10 years behind last year.....now I am just trying to breathe. What we are doing right now will be extinct in 2 years. Think about that for a bit. So why in the world am I writing you?????????
Tim- you are writing me because we live in the moment. All we have is now- later is ...later. Who knows where I will be in 5 minutes. I just know where I am right now. I hope that the future will find all of us. I want them to know who we really were-Dinah Lee
It's very important to watch what you decide to blog. Especially if you allow people to re-blog your content!
Tina- So true. I find that some of my words have been taken differently than I intended. Great Point!-Dinah Lee
A blogger would blog blogs blogging by day and blogging by night.
Tony- Cute comment. I can not beleive I found this picture-Dinah Lee
