On Feb. 12th we sponsored a real estate forum. It was not a buyer or seller typical real estate presentation.We wanted to address the issues of short sales, financing and home values all in one forum
Scott Stevenson, attorney for North west title had his short sale presentation and his prediction for 2009-2010 foreclosures.
Jamie Sutton of Wells Fargo mortgage spoke abut current financing conditions. She handled some tough questions from some of the attendees. I spoke a little about current financing programs from the state of Ohio and displayed a trend line CMA.
Result. I think Jamie may get a loan or two, Scott may get a refinance closing. I have a buyer who was sitting on the fence off the fence and a listing appointment today
But the best result was we took the time to explain to the public the current real estate situation. We will do it again in 6 months!
