Announcing a Film Forum Series at Montclair State University

 Free and Open to the Public

 

Montclair, New Jersey --- Every Tuesday evening from 7-10 p.m., beginning February 2 and concluding April 21, some of the industry's most innovative and award-winning filmmakers will appear at Montclair State University's Film Forum Series, which is free and open to the public.

Notable filmmakers will screen their films and speak about their work and the profession. They include:

  • Henry Bean, writer of Internal Affairs, award-winning writer/director of The Believer;
  • Tia Lessin and Carl Deal, producers of the award-winning film, Trouble The Water, as well as Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911 and Bowling For Columbine;
  • Emily Kunstler, daughter of self-described radical lawyer, William Kunstler, who has created a film about her father and,
  • Lee Daniels, producer and director, best known for his Academy award-winning film, Monster's Ball.

The Montclair State Film Forum offers a unique opportunity for audiences to hear personal inside stories and to ask questions of some of the most successful filmmakers working today.
