...the saga continues...
He asked for her number - she was surprised at first. Afterall, she has been interested in him since the first time she saw him ;) What took him so long, lol. Is he shy? Why does she smile so big every time she sees him? Why does she want to know all there is to know about him? Why does she want to tell him how great he looked in that red sweater the other day? Because she likes him, duh! And....since he asked for her number, there must be some interest on his part as well, right!?
Another week passes and still no call from him. Her friends tell her to just be patient and wait. She is not a very patient person - but does her best to wait on him. (it's not easy!)
He sees her downtown - and stops to talk. She asks what he is doing for lunch the next day....maybe they could grab a bite together. He takes that opportunity to tell her that he is 'seeing' someone.... and that they have been together for awhile. This confuses her. She is not one to play games...and asks him directly "why did you ask for my number? why did you ask if you could call me? why? why? why?"
His reply: Nothing is perfect, you know that.
Her response: No, nothing is perfect - and maybe it is time for you to make a change. !! (where oh where does she get the guts to say this! )
